General Information About the Carnival

The 2013 Australian Orienteering Championships was held during the year our nation celebrated the Centenary of Canberra. Orienteering ACT welcomed competitors for nine days of fantastic orienteering in and around the nation’s capital, as well as for events such as Floriade, the Centenary of Canberra celebrations, and other related activities. For future visits to Canberra, and information about things to do when you are not orienteering, see the suggestions on the Canberra Tourism website and the Visit Queanbeyan website (both sites open in a new tab/window).

Photography: Photos taken during this Carnival have been used to complement stories on this and other websites, and/or published in newspapers, magazines or The Australian Orienteer. If you or anybody you know would object to the publication of a photograph please advise the organiser using the contact email address.
